Kitchen Renovations
Full gut renovations and thoughtful refits. Cabinetry that closes right, tile that lines up, and a layout that actually works the way you cook.
ATLANTA, GA · MASTER BUILDER
Faulkner Renovations is owned and operated by hands-on Master Builder and craftsman Tim Faulkner — a proud Kiwi bringing New Zealand's work ethic, precision and pride to homes across Atlanta.
NZ Roots. Atlanta Home. Built Right.
What We Do
Full gut renovations and thoughtful refits. Cabinetry that closes right, tile that lines up, and a layout that actually works the way you cook.
Waterproofing done properly before anything pretty goes on top. Tiled showers, vanities and fixtures built to last decades, not seasons.
Extra bedrooms, primary suites, sunrooms and second storeys — framed square, tied into your existing home so it never reads as an add-on.
Ground-up homes and accessory dwellings for owners who want a builder on site, not a project manager on the phone.
Screened porches, decks and pergolas built for Georgia summers, with framing and flashing detailed to keep water where it belongs.
Trim, built-ins, stairs, mantels and millwork. This is the detail work that separates a good renovation from a great one.
Not sure which one you need? Tell us about the project and Tim will tell you straight.
The Builder
Tim Faulkner trained as a builder in New Zealand, where the trade is a qualification you earn rather than a title you print on a truck. He carries that standard into every Atlanta home he works on.
Faulkner Renovations stays deliberately small. Tim is on site, on the tools, and answering his own phone — so the person who quotes your job is the person who builds it and the person accountable for it.
That means honest scoping up front, no allowances engineered to balloon once the walls come open, and a finished job you can look at closely without finding the corners that got cut.
Quality Craftsmanship. No Shortcuts.
How It Works
Most renovation horror stories start with a vague quote. Here is exactly how a Faulkner job runs from the first phone call to the last invoice.
Tim comes to your home, listens to what you want, and tells you straight what's realistic — including when the answer is that you don't need the work.
A written scope with real numbers and a real schedule. No vague allowances designed to grow once the walls are open.
Small crew, hands-on ownership, tidy site. You get a weekly update and a phone number that Tim actually answers.
We walk the finished work together and fix the snag list before we invoice the last dollar. The work is warrantied in writing.
Recent Work

More of Tim's work is going up here as photography comes in. Ask to see projects like yours and he'll send them through.
Every line of the job on paper before a tool comes out, so you know what you are paying for and what you are not.
Tim quotes it, Tim builds it, Tim answers for it. No handing your job to whoever was available that week.
Dust barriers up, floors protected, the site swept at the end of the day. You still have to live here.
The snag list gets closed out before the final invoice, and the workmanship is guaranteed in writing.
Get In Touch
